FLA Members' Group : One Person Libraries

The purpose of the group is to assemble librarians (and other FLA Members), who serve in the one- person library environment, enabling them to network, share experiences, and solutions with other library and information professionals. As the One-Person Library is a unique environment in challenges, operations, and skills of staff, there is no group that focuses on the needs of this growing group of library and information professionals. This group is open to many types of libraries using a one-person environment paradigm.

Leadership Plan

There will a Vice Chair elected each year, at the FLA Annual Conference. The Vice Chair serves as a understudy to the Chair and ascends to be Chair the following year. Former Chairs may be called into service as a substitute of the Chair or Vice Chair, when needed.
